Janet Billings & Helen Goodwin

Janet and Helen have worked in display for the last twenty five years. They both studied at the College for the Distributive Trades in the heart of the West End where they both gained the British Display Society's Advanced Level Diploma.

Helen's first job was working as part of the display team for DH Evans in Oxford Street, where she worked with the whole range of merchandise from throughout the store. After a couple of years she started her own Visual Design Consultancy.

Janet started working for a company designing and building props for use in window displays for Debenhams, Selfridges and Harrods. In 1985 she set up her own Visual Display Company offering a full service, from design through to installation of exhibition stands and window displays.

They have worked for an extensive range of clients, from small independent retailers to large national companies both in the United Kingdom and abroad. Over the years they have won various Window Display competitions and some of their work has been featured in local and national magazines. British Airways, Wedgwood, Toyota, Which Magazine, East, HeinGericke and Sea Cat Ferries are just a few of their clients.

Due to a growing demand for display training, Helen and Janet have formed a partnership to develop this side of the business where they can pass on their knowledge and experience. They have successfully been running training workshops throughout the United Kingdom for several years.
